The Annual Rotary Cup was started in 2003 as a way of promoting the existence of Rotary as well as fundraising for a particular Rotary Project. In it’s first year, the Rotary Cup raised 600 dollars for Romanian youth. In the second year we raised 250 dollars for Eagle Elementary School. The third year we raised 400 dollars for the Rotary’s Polio Plus program. The fourth year we raised 300 dollars to donate to CARE (a leading humanitarian organization fighting global poverty). We continued to donate to CARE because of their great causes and efficient usage of funds. We also raise money for Save the Children because they are consistently a 3-4 star charity on charity navigator and have a great mission.
